How can you aquire and retain the best leadership talent?
With Career Partners you can offer leaders flexible work options without sacrificing productivity. Built by executives who understand the demands of successful, growing companies, our joint-leadership program really works. We use an advanced personality-type and leadership assessment process to match pairs of high-achievers into single leadership roles with a new twist on job-sharing. The resulting joint-leadership teams can manage people, budgets, and processes, just as individual leaders do. Whether you need to fill an open executive position or provide flexibility to an at-risk star player, we can build a team for you.

We take care of everything. We source your ideal candidates. We train your staff to cope with joint-leadership. We on-board the new team. And we provide ongoing support to ensure the partnership succeeds in your organization.

It's great for employers!
Where else can you get two great people in one position, offering collective insights, complementary skills, and built-in backup? We only work with ultra high achieving individuals who are committed to their careers. Our teams have records of achievement and longevity and progression within top organizations. Many hold advanced degrees from leading schools. Our unique behavioral modeling selects only those candidates that have the advanced communication skills required to make executive job sharing work. Through our unique behavioral modeling and skills assessment process, we find not only the most compatible partners for each other, but each are independently matched to the unique needs and culture of your organization. In fact, we will not match potential candidates together until we fully understand your organization to ensure you the optimal job share team.

Retention - Alternatives to opting out
How often have you lost a talented leader to work-life balance issues, because they wanted to start a family or pursue personal interests? Job sharing can be an effective tool for retaining key employees and stopping the loss of organizational knowledge.

Reduced Turnover
Our executive job share teams can have a significantly lower turnover rate when compared to solo employees. We find that our teams are passionately committed to each other, to maintaining their careers, and to the organization that was progressive enough to offer them this unique opportunity to achieve real work-life balance.

Maintained Momentum
When an executive job share employee does leave the organization, the transition is easier. The remaining partner carries on bridging the gap with the workload, and perhaps more critically, the vision, direction, and priorities of the department. Career sharing means less lost productivity and maintained organizational momentum through transitions.

Succession Planning
Training leaders today to run your business in the future is critical. Why lose your best candidates to the opt-out market or spend time on-ramping them when you could simply avoid losing them to begin with! With joint-leadership, and the support of Career Partners, you can keep developing your best talent as part of your succession-planning process.

Better Leaders
Studies have shown that dual-centric people make more loyal and productive employees. They have less stress, burnout, and destructive personality problems, and they can be more sensitive managers. It is becoming increasingly evident the companies that get this right, win. Career Partners can help your company lead the war for talent and win.

How does it work?
Career Partners targets untapped labor pools such as the opt-out market to unearth great candidates overlooked by traditional search practices. These candidates are thoroughly screened - We only work with ultra high achieving individuals who are committed to their careers. We match these candidates together, for your specific role and company culture, and provide you with a joint-leadership team.

Each individual typically works between 20-30 hours per week, jointly providing full coverage for a busy executive role. To the outside world, the partnership acts as a single employee, sharing an office, team, client relationships, and P&L. Inside the partnership, individuals flourish with the optimal, dual-centric work situation.

Career Partners provides ongoing team coaching, as well as candidate-funded individual executive coaching for these employees throughout their joint careers. We have found this level of committment to ongoing development has produced very high quality leadership and the most successful partnerships.
